LA FONTAINE SCHOOL EVANGELISM REPORT
April - July 2025

On the opening day of school, I preached the word of God on my way to school in a taxi, I spoke about how God saved my life. Upon arrival we had the opening of school Assembly and I was called upon to give a devotion and so I did. It was impromptu and the verse for consideration was John 3:30. During lunch time we preached in the form 2 class, and the greater percentage accepted the message with 2 receiving Christ. On that very same day, on our way home, we preached Jesus, but the audience barely heard us because of the music in the bus that was playing on full blast, regardless of the noise we preached. Daily back and forth on the school bus, we continued sharing the word of God.
On some days, I vividly remember and clearly saw this transpiring; that the staff members were the ones who were leading in mocking us as we were testifying. Usually when we would give our testimonies about masturbation and watching pornography many would laugh, yet in their hearts, they too were being troubled by these sins. There was a day I started noticing some changes, yes. music would be played but they had changed and switched to gospel songs. After this something unusual happened, on one of the school days some of the members of staff were laughing at the top of their voices, their laughter and gestures were very exaggerated. Nevertheless, we continued to preach until we got to school even though they were trying to be a nuisance. During lunch time on the same day, we visited the SA arts class and only 1 girl was present and we preached to her but unexpectedly after we had closed our eyes for the closing prayer, no one was to be seen and she had vanished. To our surprise that same day there was no music played on the bus. Going forward since this day, yes occasionally here and there a song would be played but it's not continuous anymore.
So, in a nutshell this quarter, it was easier to share the word of God in comparison to last term. Just to sum it up, some of the complications we had were mostly caused by some of the staff members but it seems like they are failing to contain our power because it is not of the world but from Heaven and we can't be stopped by mere humans without Christ in them. Yes! Many fought; but not even on a single day, did we miss sharing the Word of God whether on the school bus or in the classrooms.
We have been
preaching every day and towards the close of the quarter many were now
receiving Christ, especially in the form two & form four classes. We believe this
was because in both of
these classes on occasion we allowed them to ask questions and under discussion, the gist of
their questions was how to conquer unwelcome thoughts haunting them. It has
been a great time.
