Chitepo Secondary School Evangelism Report By Nokutenda Maisiri.

This term I thank God for helping me present the word of God. Our main aim was to preach at

the Assembly, we approached the staff members but they denied our request. We did not give up on trying after that, we started preaching the word of God in my classroom. Some of the boys, form fours joined and all listened attentively.

I preached about how Jesus came on earth and not only that, but through crucifixion he forgave our sins. One of the staff members whose office is situated in my classroom heard me when I

was preaching and wondered who was preaching. When she asked, I answered and with the help of my fellow colleagues, everyone heard that it was not only a prayer but also the word of God was being shared. After the incident occurred, she encouraged me to continue with the good work that I had started.

Upon hearing the Word one of my classmates began to weep because of the situation that she was in, unfortunately her own class friends were forcing her to fornicate, the same applied to her parents who were forcing her to get married at such a tender age. She had refused suitors presented to her. That day no one received Christ as their savior.

On another day when I was preaching, one of the boys in my classroom

chose to receive Christ and I prayed for him. Immediately after the prayer he confessed that he felt free and he went his way. When I got home, we went for evangelism with Pastor Maisiri.

As the closing day was drawing near Irene went to some staff members and asked to preach at assembly. On the closing day we reminded them. I gave my testimony at the assembly and Irene preached the word. I had a lot of fear as I was on the podium but we started by saying we are Spiritual Movement, and we needed to preach to them. I started with a short prayer followed by my testimony and Irene preached. As I was giving my testimony, I thanked God for the life I was living, a life without a boyfriend. Surprisingly, the audience laughed as I testified about having no boyfriend. I advised them to live a life without a boyfriend or a girlfriend. The sermon from Sr Irene was powerful.

I thank God for this mesmerizing experience. This was the best term ever.
