MUTARE EVANGELISM REPORT
DATE: APRIL 2025
• Mai Masaira preached in a car on her way to Mutare and the people in the car started
saying we have seen someone living the Word because thats what they had been
discussing. When she made the alter call one man said 'vamwe vanogona kuda asi
vachinyara' but little did she know that he was referring to himself. When Mai Masaira
was now at the place she was going to she met that man again and he told her of the
pain that he had and asked for her to pray for him.
• Brother Ryan, a primary school child, preached in a kombi up to a point where a certain
man started poking him in the face with the intention of stopping him. However, Ryan
didn't stop until a certain man in that same kombi started defending him so he could
continue preaching. Preaching has become a part of his daily life and on one occasion a
man accepted Christ after he preached.
• Brother Tavonga was preaching in a kombi, he denounced homosexuality and most of
the passengers turned against him. However, when he got off the kombi, one young
man, with tinted hair and earrings followed him and asked him where the church could
be found. He had been convicted by the Holy Spirit!
• Brother Anesu asked for an opportunity to preach at the place where he takes extra
school lessons. His teacher agreed an on a certain Monday, he found them waiting for
him. As he preached, one child fell from a tree, distracting his audience to the point
where he found himself stopping too. However, he remembered what our Captain had
taught that the devil could use a distraction to stop one from preaching, so he carried
on and most of the people there accepted Christ!
•Mr. Tapambwa and Tavonga were preaching at Mudzviti Rank one of the days, and a
certain young man came and sat down so he could hear the Gospel. After a while he
stood up, left, then came back with a lighted cigarette and sat near Mr. Tapambwa. At
first, Mr. Tapambwa decided to move away from the cigarette smoke but found himself
preaching to the young man. The young man started confessing his sins but not to be
saved but to be pitied. Mr. Tapambwa then kept preaching and after he had finished
stood up to go. However, the young man called him and asked to receive Christ. He had
been convicted!
• The Mutare Mothers, on their customary Door to Door Evangelism, came to a certain
house where they found a man by himself. They preached to him and after they left he
shared what he had heard with his family and persuaded them to attend church. They
are now attending church as we speak!!
• Mr. Matingwina asked God for more of the power to heal and has started to see God at
work. In one of the schools in Bocha, Manicaland, where he teaches, a young girl has
started to see signs of healing from the skin disease she was born with. This young girl
suffered from this skin disease from birth and all her life it had been a problem, and her
hair had started thinning because of the disease. One day during Consultation, Mr.
Matingwina told the mother that he would start praying for her child to be healed. From
that time, he started praying for her, but no signs of healing were seen. Mr. Matingwina
then told the Man of God about the issue, and he told him that he would pray for the
child and that Mr. Matingwina should carry on praying for her. Recently, the young girl's
older sister came to Mr. Matingwina and told him that the situation is starting to
change. The skin disease is now disappearing!
• Pastor Takunyai, some months ago, declared that he was going to preach in tertiary
institutions and he has been going around asking for time to preach. This month he has
preached at Mutare Teacher's College and Marymount Teacher's College!
