MARONDERA EVANGELISM REPORT

Mrs Ferume went to the market place in Cherima. While she was preaching many people started to shout at her but she continued preaching. Some women came and dragged her out of the market place but she went back into the market place and continued preaching. It is the same place where her husband who denied God works.

Douglas, Kudakwashe, Tamiriraishe and Stallon went into town early in the morning. Brother Kuda to started preaching. Whilst brother Stallon was opening with a prayer and God took over his prayer. He prayed about the things that we face in our journey of following Christ. When he finished praying brother Kuda also started praying instead of preaching. We began to pray together and as we prayed a lot of bystanders started looking at us. After praying Brother Kuda started testifying about how the devil wanted him to commit suicide. After his testimony Brother Stallon preached and it was a powerful message and then Brother Tami also testified about the struggles that he was facing at school for instance pornography and masturbation.  Douglas also testified about stealing and entertainment and they all declared their position. It was our day that day and still one person accepted Christ that day.

Douglas, Kudakwashe and Jared went into town to preach the word of God. Brother Douglas is the one who started but no one accepted Christ. Brother Kuda also preached and God told him that there was a certain woman who was supposed to receive Christ. After God spoke to him, the women left and went somewhere else so he kept on preaching until that she came back. When he gave an alter call, she raised her hands and he prayed for her. She went on to say to other people why are you not raising your hands as if you do not have sin, unfortunately they remained adamant

Several times Mrs. Fore would meet sick or possessed people she would hear God telling her to pray for them. The first time she heard God telling her to lay her hands on a sick person she was afraid and couldn’t. However, after declaring during testimony that she would pray for whoever God wanted her to pray for, she immediately received power and was able to do what God was asking. On one occasion she met a sick person and God told her to lay her hands and pray for the person. When she approached the sick woman, she said you can pray for me but don’t lay your hands on my head because I am not allowed to have hands laid on my head. She said this was not allowed because if hands were laid on her head Mrs. Fore would not be able to handle the demons inside her. Mrs. Fore filled with the power of the Holy Spirit laid her hands on her head and the person was healed and the demons were rendered powerless.

Mr & Mrs Zinyama were preaching at a certain shopping centre in Cherutombo. Whilst Mr. Zinyama was preaching a lady who was indecently dressed came to the shops and Mrs. Zinyama was pushed by God to approach her and denounce her dressing which she did. There was an uprising from one of the shop keepers but no one gave her attention and some people who were passing by stopped and sat down and listened to the word of God.

Mrs Msengeyi has been preaching in the CBD during lunch hour and when she is unable to make it. People who work near the place where she preaches ask her why she couldn’t make it to preach. This shows that people are eager to hear the word of God.

What a great Quarter. We have experienced an increase in our desire to preach, to the extent that taxi drivers are willing to leave us behind because they know that we are going to preach. On one occasion one taxi driver got fed up because different people had boarded his taxi and they were just preaching so he refused to carry Sister Memory because she wanted to preach.

We can’t wait to be unleashed in the next quarter.
