We gathered with a group of villagers who always come to listen to
the messages of hope and salvation, we were able to engage in the most exciting
meeting with our fellow brethren.
I will not mention dates but there are mouth-watering events that
took place in Tengwe where we saw the hand of God, that indeed God's love is
unconditional. God goes to the lowest. On our first day in Tengwe God made us
understand that if Jesus was made to choose, he wouldn't have chosen us but it
was God's love that chose us.
We were touched when one of the Sundays an elderly man Mr. Manzungu
testified confessing to struggling with lust and fornication, and expressed his
desire to go to heaven. It was not only him but we witnessed the hand of God
through testimonies of fellow brethren when Belinda Chinyanga confessed to
drinking alcohol. We were excited when a young man testified that he was so
disappointed at being left behind for the easter convention. We praised God
when Mr. Manzungu worshiped in a worshiping service by reading Psalms. We heard
a wonderful time when Mr. Nyanga preached about breaking ties with the past and
living a sanctified life during that service two women gave their lives to
Christ. One of the days we witnessed the power of God when Delight stood up and
began to pray, praising the Lord for giving her the strength and courage to
preach even though people resisted.
The most exciting experience we heard was when God spoke to Mr
Nyanga that we were supposed to stop praying until Belinda Chinyanga arrived
and we prayed until she showed up without any evidence if she was going to show
up but that was the love of God that surpasses all understanding.
One of the most memorable moments was when the holy spirit overtook
Mr, Nyanga and started to pray for Mr Manzungu that God wanted to take him. It
uplifted our prayer and we saw that there was improvement in Mr.Manzungu's
prayer.
