ST LUDGER EVANGELISM REPORT
On the 25th of June 2024, the Spiritual Movement youth representatives headed to St Ludger
Secondary School for evangelism.
The Spiritual Movement youth representatives stood in their groups which gave a summation
of five groups. The first group consisted of two Spiritual Movement youth boys and six St
Ludger Secondary students. Firstly, testimonies were shared by the students and some testified
about stealing sugar as the only sin troubling them. The lack of seriousness was observed by the
group leaders. However, the group leaders stood their ground and blasted the students for
lacking seriousness and proceeded with a word from Mark 7 vs 21-23. Among the six students,
consisted of four senior students who are regular comers and two new junior students. One
accepted and received Christ as his savior.
The second group consisted of three Spiritual Movement men and seven students. A word was
shared from Matthew 5 vs 1-7. The preacher emphasized on acting when God speaks, praying
always and to leave sin. Other speakers also emphasized the existence of hell which is surely
supported the word shared by the preacher. However, despite of six old students and 1 new
student in attendance, none of them received Christ as their Savior. The group leaders
observed the seriousness and interest in the students to hear the word of God.
The third group consisted two Spiritual Movement boys and three school students. A word was
shared from Timothy 3 vs 1-5. The first speaker emphasized on cutting ties with everything
which brings the possibility of sinning in their lives and the second speaker gave a word from
Matthew 25 vs 1-9 emphasizing on being prepared to go to heaven, and how we must live for
God. The group leaders observed the student’s interest due to their participation in the
discussion.
The fourth group consisted of two Spiritual Movement boys and approximately three classes.
No word of God was shared but they mainly focused on encouraging children to pray and to
look for God. One former follower of the Spiritual Movement disturbed the proceedings in of
the classes and was blasted immediately.
The firth group consisted of five Spiritual Movement ladies and three school students. One
Spiritual Movement lady shared her testimony and the word of God was shared from 2nd
Timothy 2 vs 12-13. An emphasis on God’s faithfulness and encouragement for them to hold
onto Christ was made. During preaching a question was raised by a student justifying her sin of
lust and seeking attention from the opposite sex. An argument was brought up as the spiritual
movement ladies emphasized that the desire for admiration was leading to lust. The girl
showed interest and accepted the help.
Sharing of the word continued, enough time was left for questions. “Is playing with boys a sin or
not?”, the girl asked. She justified her actions stating that she was avoiding gossiping which is
widely done by girls. She also claimed to be seeking educational help from boys. The Spiritual
Movement ladies helped her by bringing out the sin of fornication. In conclusion the student
was advised to play alone instead and to get school assistance from her teachers. The student
showed interest and accepted the advice.
